BuildPro Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager who can effectively lead projects while adapting to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate and resolve project challenges with creative solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail, are essential. This role requires overall leadership in project execution, including quality, timeliness, and safety management, as well as mentoring and guiding project team members. The Project Manager will also play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships by delivering excellent service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the financial health of projects, ensuring budget alignment and cost control.
Lead contract negotiations with clients, including scope definition, technical requirements, and project scheduling.
Manage procurement and vendor selection processes, including request for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and risk assessments.
Develop and maintain project financial forecasts and equipment projections.
Allocate project estimates within financial systems, manage cost codes, approve invoices, and oversee budget decisions.
Generate accurate and timely client billings.
Oversee subcontractor and supplier management, including contract administration and performance monitoring.
Provide leadership and guidance to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, ensuring professional growth and performance development.
Approve timesheets for on-site team members and provide ongoing feedback.
Serve as the primary liaison with clients and on-site representatives, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Manage change orders and assess their impact on budget and schedule.
Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion within scope and quality standards.
Implement and uphold high safety, quality, and compliance standards for all project stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of six years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of complex projects, from inception to completion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of construction law, industry standards, and best business practices.
Experience in commercial or residential construction preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
